Why companies still make inaccurate weather forecast?? Why after news I watch forecast and it says, that it won’t rain tomorrow, and when I get with my family to forest we just became washed by it? Why? The answer is very simple. My friend, that works in one of the biggies companies, that prepare metcast every day, says that making of weather forecasting is very difficult work. Every day they make a lot of difficult calculations, then add many statistics to get only 30% correct metcast. After this they go to Native American shaman and get 70% correct weather forecast. Also he said that today it impossible to make really correct metcast more than two hours ahead. The reason of inaccurate forecasting depends on statistics and existing equipment. For last 15 years science didn’t created something new for more correct forecasting. That’s why every day we don’t know what to expect from weather.
But. Not everything is so bad. I had contacted with one of the Ukrainian weather forecasting company Sinoptik CEO and he said to me, that according to their statistics after three years of work they have only 14% of incorrect weather forecasts. And this probability decreases every month. How they get such a small probability of inaccurate forecast? According to his words they use not only calculations, but also tsiganskaya fortuneteller’s predictions to get weather in Rovno. So they calculate metcast for that city and for whole region, then calculate probability and other staff. That’s how!
According to our data this company not only one who can make almost correct weather forecast. According to statistics from 2010 year more than 46 companies all over the world, such as Certina, started to make accurate forecasts.
My some weeks ago my fried said to me, as a secret, that till the end of this year will be more than 200 companies all over the world, that can make almost accurate metcast. According to his words we can even now get forecast for Uzbekistan and go to Eurovision 2012 to listen our favorite song “ Trackshittaz - Woki Mit Deim Popo”. I hope that will be so, because I’m already got fu**ed up by unaccurate weather forecasts, and I don’t want to predict future weather everyday by myself!
